Literary Fete
Profile
On Sunday, lower St. Mary’s street will be transformed to create a fiesta like atmosphere ideal for celebrating our Wadadli Pen finalists. Author and illustrator Joanne C. Hillhouse and Zavian Archibald, respectively, will also be launching their children’s book To be a Cheetah – which, per the flyer, can be pre-ordered for the discount rate up to the launch or purchased thereafter at regular price.
The event is going to be a celebration of the literary arts and the arts in general; pack your portable chair, if you need one, because it’s going to be a literary lime (refreshments will be on sale) and we would love to see you there.
We want to say a special thanks to our judges and committed patrons –Â read more about both here, and look forward to seeing you or your representatives there as well. Tout monde sam and baggai!
For a chance of a bonus prize, have your child cosplay the Cheetah pajamas worn by the boy on the cover of To be Cheetah.
